Seseh is located approximately 20 minutes from Seminyak/Kuta which are the main cosmopolitan areas of Bali and it comes to contrast with them as it is more remote inspiring a sense of true serenity due to its location hidden amongst the rice terraces and against the Indian Ocean. Seseh includes postcard-like sceneries. Its beach is revered by the Balinese as a sacred beach where the celebration of Melasti begins, held 3 days before the Balinese New Year in March. This village is also notable for its great surfing and cultural heritage sites for which Bali was once famous.
